If you weren't already aware, you can use your Touch 'n Go eWallet to make cashless payments across Asia, including in countries that accept Alipay+

This includes locations such as China, Thailand, South Korea, Hong Kong, Singapore, Indonesia, Japan, and several others.

However, starting from 25 April, Touch 'n Go will implement a 1% conversion fee for all overseas transactions made through QR code payments.

The fee will be incorporated into the daily exchange rate of your travel destination.

According to Lowyat.NET, the conversion fee won't apply to those who use Touch 'n Go's Visa debit card for overseas transactions.

Earlier this year, the company also announced that starting 23 February, a 1% fee will be applied to all credit card reloads

However, reloads made via DuitNow and debit cards remain free of charge.

You can find out how to reload your Touch 'n Go eWallet via DuitNow on your bank apps here.
