A luxury concept by leading cinema exhibitor, Golden Screen Cinemas (GSC), Aurum Theatre, has officially launched its newest location at The Exchange TRX, the latest happening spot in KL.
Spanning over 120,000 square feet across four floors, this outlet is more than just a cinema, it marks the largest ultra-luxurious entertainment experience in Southeast Asia, featuring state-of-the-art cinema halls, new F&B establishments, merchandise, and a dressed-up space to cater to luxe events, all under one roof.
Movie-goers will love the 11 exquisitely designed cinema halls, each with its own lush interior and comfortable seats
Ranging from Getha Lux Suites, Escape Studios, and Maybank Comfort Cabin to IMAX, ScreenX, and ScreenX (2D), each hall has its own unique features that set it apart.
No matter which hall you choose, each Aurum Pass includes a choice from a menu of snacks and drinks, which will be served directly to your seat. Plus, those who opt for IMAX or ScreenX will even get some complimentary treats that come with the movie pass!

Getha Lux Suites
Featuring plush Getha recliners with a built-in mini fridge — complete with snacks and beverages — this hall is perfect for those seeking a lavish movie-watching experience. It's particularly great for longer movies, so you can relax and be super comfy while you watch.
The new and improved Getha recliner even offers wireless charging ports, dimmable lights, plush blankets, and complimentary bedroom slippers to keep you cosy. The hall is also equipped with innovative audio technology, Dolby Atmos.
Escape Studios
The four Escape Studio halls are designed based on epic movie themes and iconic pop culture references, making them super Insta-worthy.
This includes the La Romance Hall (inspired by Paris, the city of love, and popular romance movies), the vibrant Neon Nippon Hall (designed to mimic the bustling streets of Shinjuku in Tokyo), the Couture Hall (inspired by The Devil Wears Prada, featuring monochromatic themes and a pop of bright red), and The Rhapsody Hall (a classy, music-themed hall with musical notes gracing the walls as an ode to classic film scores).
Maybank Comfort Cabin
Inspired by the magical Grand Theatre, the Maybank Comfort Cabins are best suited for those seeking utmost comfort. Stretch out on the new Stressless recliners, equipped with patented Stressless technology, providing all-rounded support for the whole body.
IMAX
Aurum Theatre at The Exchange TRX is home to the first IMAX hall featuring comfortable, fully reclinable seats, fitted with immersive 12 channel sound.
Equipped with state-of-the-art technology for the ultimate cinematic experience, IMAX with Laser delivers crystal clear images and next generation precision sound for IMAX's most advanced theatre experience.
ScreenX
Enjoy watching movies on the largest ScreenX in Malaysia, offering a 270-degree panoramic experience, complete with fully reclinable seats.
While you're there, don't forget to grab a bite at Hokkaido Table or Kissa Cafe and Diner.
Both restaurants are open to everyone, not just those watching movies at the cinema.
At Hokkaido Table, you'll be able to enjoy a Japanese-Italian fushion menu, comprising of the freshest, seasonal produce. It's home to a first-of-its-kind omakase within cinema premises, which is available for both lunch and dinner.
Feast on rustic and hearty flavours that harmoniously blend Japanese and Italian cuisine, like sashimi moriawase and signature seafood pasta and risotto dishes. They also have mains (fish, poultry, and meat) that are light yet vibrant and bursting with umami flavour. As for desserts, you can indulge your sweet tooth with classics like tiramisu, burnt cheesecake, and strawberry shortcake.
Hokkaido Table also has a bar, which offers a selection of refreshing mocktails and delightful bites.
As for Kissa Cafe and Diner, it's a vibrant and casual space to catch up with friends and loved ones. You'll find a range of Japanese-Western food awaiting you, with signature dishes including classic burgers, sandos, ramen, and pastas with a Japanese-twist.
Make sure to also try their specialty drinks — Galaxy Lemonade, Sweet Potato Latte, Cheese Mousse Matcha, and Mocha Cheese Foam.
