Green 'Power Rangers' Actor Passes Away At 49

Jason David Frank, the actor who played the green Power Ranger, has passed away
Famously known for his role as the green Power Ranger, Tommy Oliver, from Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, Jason David Frank passed away on 20 November at 49 years old, as reported exclusively by TMZ.
Before his death, the actor had been working on a project titled Legend of the White Dragon, initially set to release in 2023.
A prominent character for kids who grew up in the 90's, the actor started out his journey in the Power Rangers franchise as the green Power Ranger
The character, Tommy Oliver, was initially introduced as a brainwashed enemy of the Power Rangers before he joined forces with them in a turnabout. Once his powers begin to lessen, Tommy turns into the white Power Ranger and became the leader of the group.
The fan-favourite, Frank, stayed for three season of the franchise before reprising his role in several adaptations of Power Rangers, collecting the roles of Red Ranger, Black Ranger, and Green Ranger under his belt.
The cause of his death is undisclosed and his representative asks the public to respect the privacy of his family and friends
Frank's manager, Justine Hunt, told TMZ, "Please respect the privacy of his family and friends during this horrible time as we come to terms with the loss of such a wonderful human being. He loved his family, friends, and fans very much. He will truly be missed."
The actor was survived by his four children before his passing.
