"When's The Date?" — Anwar Teases Syed Saddiq About Wedding Plans With Bella Astillah

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim playfully teased Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman about his relationship with actress-singer Bella Astillah after the duo shared a series of adorable videos together
In a TikTok video posted yesterday, 4 March, the Muar member of parliament (MP) is seen approaching Anwar outside the Dewan Rakyat to present him with two sets of baju melayu.
"Datuk Seri, as promised, [here are two sets of] baju melayu.
"One is your favourite colour, the PKR colour, and the other is the colour pink," said Syed Saddiq.
In response, Anwar quipped, "Bella has to be next to me," hinting that he wanted a photo opportunity with the celebrity when receiving the clothes.
"Jangan kacau (Don't tease me)," the Muar MP said with a laugh, before adding, "Kasi chance (Give me a chance), Datuk Seri."
The prime minister then tapped Syed Saddiq's shoulder and assured him it was all in good fun.
The two politicians continued chatting in front of the media, with Anwar asking the 32-year-old if a wedding date had been set
"The date... Has it been decided?" Anwar asked playfully, teasing Syed Saddiq about whether he and Bella would tie the knot.
Laughing, Syed Saddiq replied, "Let's hope for the best. Don't worry. You will be one of the first to know."
"So, it hasn't been decided?" Anwar pressed.
"Later it gets reported on the news, habis (I'll be finished)," Syed Saddiq responded.
Anwar is then seen whispering something to Syed Saddiq, keeping it out of the media's earshot.
After hearing the prime minister's words, the Muar lawmaker shook his hand and gave him a slight bow.
At the time of writing, the video has garnered over 4.3 million views on TikTok and 2.3 million views on Instagram.
