Zayn Malik recently did an interview with British Vogue where he revealed the contents of his duffle bag, including an Asian household staple: Nin Jiom Pei Pa Koa, also known as Cap Ibu dan Anak

Speaking to the British magazine, he described the cough syrup as "honey from China".

He revealed that he takes it everywhere he goes, especially if he's singing, as it is "ridiculously good for your vocal chords".

"I call it my special elixir," he says during the interview, mentioning that he takes it by mixing it with a bit of water.

Among the items in his Fendi bag, the British artiste carries deodorant, a toothbrush and toothpaste, a perfume bottle, a Steam Deck gaming device, a book, wet wipes, Advil, facial gel cream, and more

"I like to brush my teeth a lot," he shares, adding that doing it at "regular intervals throughout the day" became a sort of ritual for him when he was in the band.

He also revealed that he uses only water to wash his face in the morning, believing that soap ruins his skin. Additionally, he relies on facial wipes to keep his face clean during the day when necessary.

Pulling out his Steam Deck, Zayn shared that he used to play a lot of Super Mario when he was younger. His current favourite game is Hell Divers, which is on PlayStation.
