From 'Chainsaw Man' To Hokage: Students Put On Creative Anti-Cheating Hats During Exam
Cheating is not their ninja way.
Students from Batangas State University in the Phillippines have won the Internet after photos of them wearing creative anti-cheating hats during an exam went viral
According to Manila Bulletin, the photos were taken by the university's lecturer, Angelo Ebora, during a mid-term exam for students pursuing the Bachelor of Science in Agriculture programme.
Some students wore various household items creatively put together to form a hat, while others went all out by crafting anime-inspired headgear.
One student even wore a cosplay hat based on the protagonist of Chainsaw Man, and seated not far away was a student wearing a raven-looking headgear inspired by a character from My Hero Academia.
The students also cosplayed as characters from Minecraft, Angry Birds, Adventure Time, Naruto, and Money Heist, among others
Ebora said he asked his students to wear anti-cheating hats because he wanted to "alleviate his students' stress during their exam" and remind them of the importance of academic integrity
Speaking to Filipino news programme News 5, Ebora said students were not required to design their anti-cheating hats, but those who did would receive five additional marks on their exam paper.
ABS-CBN News reported that almost 70 students showed up for the exam wearing anti-cheating hats, impressing their lecturer.
"I didn't expect that they would take it so seriously... When I saw their [anti-cheating hats], I was very amazed and proud of them," he said.
