"Not On My 2024 Bingo Card" — F1 Star Lewis Hamilton Spotted At A Local School In KL
"This is the most random thing I've seen in 2024," said a netizen.
Formula One superstar Lewis Hamilton was spotted at SMK Seri Keramat in Kuala Lumpur today, 15 March, surprising many Malaysians on social media
The F1 star's appearance in Malaysia — ahead of the Australian Grand Prix, which is scheduled to take place on 24 March — was highlighted by X user @FazreenIdham this morning.
"It's true that Hamilton is coming to Keramat!" wrote the fan in excitement, before sharing a three-second snippet of the man himself casually talking to some people at the school.
The X user said the racecar driver is most likely at the local school as part of a programme by PETRONAS
A photo of a banner at the school indicates that SMK Seri Keramat was the champion of a PETRONAS Chemicals Group national competition last year.
According to Free Malaysia Today, Hamilton was visiting the winning school as part of the company's 'Towards Sustainable Communities' programme, which is a collaboration between the school's Parent Teacher Association (PIBG) and Petrosains.
It is not known where he is headed to next.
As of writing, the three-second shot of Hamilton has since amassed over 2,400 shares, with Malaysians surprised by the sight of the F1 icon
"'Lewis Hamilton in Keramat' was not on my 2024 bingo card," said an X user.
"Lewis Hamilton visiting SMK Seri Keramat is as random as that time Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez were spotted at Wangsa Walk," said another.
