This Country Homestay In Cameron Highlands Looks Straight Out Of A Disney Flick

Adorably named, The Fairy's Cottage in Cameron Highlands will make you feel snug and cuddly from the pictures alone
Just a five-minute walk from the town of Tanah Rata comes a homestay that's bound to be the next craze for those taking a trip up to Cameron Highlands, The Fairy's Cottage.
While there may not be any real fairies that inhabit the stay, the interior and layout is bound to make you feel like you're basking in a mystical scene from a Disney movie.
Situated in a relatively flat area of the mountainous region, you won't have to travel into the depths of The Highlands to reach this locale
The homestay is located among a series of apartments within the surroundings. It is a rather quiet and remote place to stay at in comparison to the fairly busy lifestyle of Tanah Rata.
Free parking spots are available below the complex, so you'll save on some cash when it comes to that expense. A minor dent however, is that there's no elevator service available. The apartment is located on the fourth floor, so pack lightly to spare yourselves getting winded while walking up the stairs.
Step inside and take in the decorative features that, coupled with the windy surroundings, transport you to the hills of Norway
The first room you'll see is the living area, that looks like a modern-take on Snow White's cottage in the best way possible.
Laced with accents of velboa and cotton fabrics, the sofas, chairs, and carpets don't get any more comfy than this. Alongside a giant couch with plenty of sofa cushions, three arm chairs and a little footstool make up additional seating options that can fit six to eight people.
A miniature coffee table and flatscreen television are provided as sources of entertainment. However, guests should note that only cable television channels are available.
An important notice, there is no WiFi provided at the stay. Intentionally omitted, the entire goal of the host is for patrons to relax in the solitude and tranquility of Cameron Highlands.
Directly adjacent to the living room is the kitchen and dining area, shouldering one another to ease the cooking experience
The vernacular dining table seats up to six people. Basic kitchen utensils are provided, including coffee mugs, plates, cutlery, and bowls.
The kitchen on the other hand, is well stocked with facilities to aid anyone who wants to cook. A fridge, a kettle, an induction cooker, and a water purifier, are supplied generously.
While the stay has pots and pans that can be used, the host advises patrons to bring their own due to the diminished capacity when it comes to their functionality.
Nonetheless, the location of The Fairy's Cottage is only a five-minute walk away from local cafes and bars in town. There is also nearby access to banks, restaurants, the main bus terminal of Cameron Highlands, and a Starbucks.
The apartment consists of three bedrooms and two bathrooms, which can accommodate up to eight guests at a time
Two of the three bedrooms consist of one double bed, and one floor mattress. The third bedroom on the other hand, consists of one queen-sized bed.
All the wardrobes have hangers, and extra pillows and blankets if you want more comfort. An iron is also provided, as well as a washer if your clothes get dirty.
Though it may not come as a surprise, the bedrooms do not have air-conditioning. For some cool air, open the dollhouse window frames and take in the windy breeze.
As for the bathrooms, centralised water heaters are dispensed so you won't need to freeze bathing in cold water. The second bathroom even has a bathtub if you wanna take a relaxing soak for an hour or so.
Among some of the other bathroom amenities supplied are shampoo and hairdryers. Towels are not provided, so be sure to bring your own.
The overall best part of The Fairy's Cottage has to be their balcony, that gleams with views of Tanah Rata for miles on end
Stuffed with plaid and dotted-print cushions, the outdoor patio would make for the most romantic setting on any date.
With multiple light fixtures, bring your drinks outside and place them on the makeshift crate used as a miniature table.
If you can't help but adore the views of the highlands, bring a blanket outside and whisk yourself away into dreamland under the night-time stars.
