Who knew that an 80-something-year-old grandmother living in rural Zambia would become the Internet's latest style sensation?
Meet Margret Chola, affectionately known as Legendary Glamma.
With no birth certificate to confirm her exact age, she's taken the fashion world by surprise, strutting the digital runway in the trendiest outfits borrowed from her granddaughter, Diana Kaumba.
It all began as a playful photoshoot during Diana's visit to Zambia. The series, cleverly titled The Granny Series, was never meant to be a big deal.
Diana, a stylist based in New York City, had packed some carefully curated outfits for her trip but hadn't worn them all.
As she was honouring the memory of her father, who sparked her love for fashion with his impeccable style, an idea struck her: why not ask her grandma to model them?
Margret, or "Mbuya" (which means "grandmother" in Bemba), agreed without hesitation. "I wasn't doing anything at the time. So I just said: 'OK. If that's what you want to do, let's do it — why not?' You will miss me when I die, and at least this way, you'll have something to remember me by," she said, according to BBC.
Little did anyone know that this heartwarming project would explode online, gaining thousands of followers and fans who couldn't get enough of Margret's charisma and the joy she radiates.

"I feel different, I feel new and alive in these clothes," she shared with her granddaughter. "I feel like I can conquer the world!"

The Granny Series isn't just about fashion; it's a celebration of older generations and the memories we can create together.
