As new cafés and stores pop up all over KL, it's reassuring to see that timeless shops like Yat Hang Trading still thrive today

This century-old store, nestled along Jalan Tun HS Lee, offers a remarkable collection of traditional ceramic and porcelain crockery and cutlery in every shape and size.

From dim sum baskets to the iconic 'rooster' bowls and kopitiam cups, it's a treasure trove of old-school tableware that has become increasingly rare.

Originally a modest shoplot, Yat Hang Trading now spans a three-storey building, with narrow aisles lined with shelves brimming with tableware that was once a staple in households from the 1940s to 1960s

Among the offerings, you'll discover traditional Chinese hand-painted ceramics adorned with intricate decorative motifs, now prized by collectors for their beauty and historical value.

Bowls, plates, stew pots, tea cups, and enamelware are just some of the many items you'll find.
