1. The Botanist

Tucked within Tamarind Square is this beautiful, calming café surrounded by lush greenery. They've got quite a few good reviews on their signature dishes, with customers commending them on their service. 

Most frequent here for breakfast and brunch but just take note that it can get pretty packed during peak hours.

2. Mossarium Café

Known for their terrarium workshops, Mossarium also functions as a cosy café in both of their outlets in PJ. They offer coffee and dessert like strawberry shortcake, Biscoff cheesecake, matcha cake, along with other goodies.

3. Sipping Corner

Nestled within Plant & Pot Studio's outlets are these little sections where you can grab a bite while spending the day browsing through their plant stores. It's a peaceful environment and a great space to chill, whether on your own or with a friend.

4. Warunk Koffie by Wood & Steel

Run by Wood & Steel, Warunk Koffie is a new spacious café situated in Shah Alam, offering popular local tea time snacks like curry puff and cucur badak. They also serve local fusion meals, including salted egg chicken chop, pastas, nasi goreng daging, among others. 

If you're wanting to take the family out, book a reservation in advance to confirm a table and not get disappointed.

5. Plant Meets Art

Plant Meets Art is a florist and café in Tropicana Gardens Mall that serves a variety of drinks and cakes, as well as Malaysian favourite nasi lemak, made fresh by the owner and his mum.

In fact, all of the dishes on the menu are homemade, which just makes this space so much cosier.

6. Foliage Coffee

Meeting friends for brunch? Check out Foliage Coffee, a spacious lot in Taman Desa that certainly lives up to its name. Everywhere you look, you'll spot plants of some sort! There's an option to dine outside if you need some fresh air too.

7. Planter Chin

It's difficult to not fall in love with Planter Chin  a well-known café located in one of the upstairs shoplots of Bangsar. You'll find all kinds of plants here, a total Pinterest-worthy space. Aside from the usual coffee, they have a 'halal mojito', known as the 'Halito', it's a refreshing kombucha drink that's perfect for hot days. 

The place can also get pretty crowded on peak days, so try to head there during off-peak hours if you hope to get a seat.

8. The Farm Foodcraft

Much like their name suggests, The Farm Foodcraft offers a farm-to-table experience, which is that they grow most of their fresh ingredients from their own urban farming lab. Anything that they can't grow is sourced from local farmers and vendors. So freshness is no question. 

The best part is that the ambience is perfect for whatever time of day, whether it's breakfast, lunch, or dinner. They even serve craft beers, wine, and cocktails.

9. Bizbox

Bizbox is a pork-free café, plant store, and business centre all in one space. Contrary to what one might think, it looks nothing like a typical sterile office space, and instead has a warm and inviting ambience.

Whether you're meeting a client, need to pay bills at Pos Malaysia, or send a parcel through Bizbox (a courier service), they have it all. You could even buy a plant on your way out!

10. Neutrals.ttdi

Neutrals.ttdi has strategically placed plants all around their café, making every corner of the room picture-worthy. The café, which was opened as a collective effort by The Roast Things coffee roasters and Sunbather Coffee, offers quiches, cakes, and bento-style meals. 

Enjoy a cuppa by The Roast Things and a sando by Sunbather here, or both!
