A Local Eatery Is Offering Free Food To UPSR Students Until The End Of December

Students have to show their result slips to receive the free food.

A local eatery in Kota Bharu, Kelantan is celebrating students who have received their Ujian Pencapaian Sekolah Rendah (UPSR) results with free food

UPSR results were released yesterday, 21 November.

The shop's 39-year-old manager, Che Suriyati Che Masor, said the outlet has been giving free food to examination candidates and their families for three years.

Che Suriyati has been operating the eatery, Che Sue D'Mara, for 10 years now and decided that it would be great to celebrate the children's success along with her other customers

"Besides UPSR, we also offer free food to candidates who sat for Form Three Assessment (PT3), Sijil Peperiksaan Malaysia (SPM), and Sijil Tinggi Pelajaran Malaysia (STPM)," she told Bernama when met at the shop in Pasar Melor.

She said that the offer will last until the end of December and that students have to show their result slips to receive the free food

In a Facebook post, she wrote that she would like to celebrate students who scored 4As and above.

Yesterday, 10 students already turned up to enjoy the free food, showing her their results ranging from 4A2B to a straight 6As.

Che Suriyati said there are 50 items on the menu for the students to choose from, including nasi ayam, mi celup, coconut shake, and ice cream.
