The three-year-old girl who is the sole survivor of a devastating crash that claimed the lives of six members of her family in Kedah is reported to be in stable condition
According to Kuala Muda district police chief ACP Hanyan Ramlan, Aulia Sofea Ahmad Shafiq is still receiving treatment after suffering serious injuries in the accident.
The child was initially treated at Sultan Abdul Halim Hospital in Sungai Petani before being transferred to Sultanah Bahiyah Hospital in Alor Setar today, 8 June.
"Although the victim sustained serious injuries, she is reported to be in a stable condition," Hanyan said, as quoted by the New Straits Times.

The tragedy occurred at about 3.50pm on 7 June in Kampung Baru Pinang Tunggal
Six members of the same family, including a baby, were killed when the Proton X50 they were travelling in collided with a tipper truck carrying a load of soil.
Aulia Sofea was the only survivor.
The family was reportedly travelling from Penang to Merbok to visit the graves of relatives when the crash happened.
Meanwhile, Hanyan urged the public not to speculate on the cause of the accident while investigations are ongoing.
"Let us conduct our investigation first. Do not speculate or give views that might interfere with the probe," he said.
He also thanked motorists who had come forward with dashboard camera recordings and called on anyone with information about the incident to assist police.
The tragedy has also left Aulia Sofea's extended family grappling with the loss of multiple loved ones
Speaking to reporters, the child's aunt, 32-year-old Siti Nur Atiqah Ahmad Shukri, said she is prepared to care for her niece if the child recovers.
"For me, if Allah decrees that she passes away too, I accept it because her mother and father are already gone. If Allah allows her to stay, I accept that too," she said.
"She is like my own child, and I am willing to raise her."
The crash has drawn national attention due to the scale of the tragedy, which killed nearly an entire family in a single incident.

Family members of the victims could not hold back their tears as they poured water on the graves of the victims who died in the crash.
