The search and rescue (SAR) team at the landslide-hit campsite in Batang Kali, Selangor, was greeted by another heartbreaking sight while looking for victims

The rescuers found the body of the 26th victim, which was that of a man hugging a dog.

According to New Straits Times, the latest victim was found 4m underground at Sector B of the search area at 11.19am today, 21 December.

Hulu Selangor police chief Supt Suffian Abdullah said the victim was initially camped in Sector A, but was displaced to his current location due to the landslide

The man's age and race have yet to be determined.

He added that the body was brought to Sungai Buloh Hospital while the dogs' remains were handed over to the Veterinary Department.

Meanwhile, Selangor Fire and Rescue Department assistant operations director Hafisham Mohd Noor said the team will have to dig deeper into the ground to locate the remaining victims

Last night, 20 December, the body of the 25th victim, a girl aged between five and seven, was found 17m under debris in Sector C at the Father's Organic Farm campsite. Seven victims are still missing.
