Senior Citizen Allegedly Shoots His Neighbour's Kitty 'Molly' With An Air Rifle
There were multiple ball bearings lodged in her small body as a result of being shot.
A 62-year-old man, Aziz Tambi, allegedly shot his neighbour's cat, Molly, with an air rifle earlier this year
Aziz allegedly committed the offence at a house in Jalan Tanjung Minyak, Bukit Rambai, Melaka, at 2.30pm on 18 June.
According to theSundaily, Molly was brought to the vet by her owner after he observed her vomiting blood. She also had small wounds on her back that turned out to be ball bearings lodged in her body.
Sadly, Molly passed away from her injuries.

Aziz was charged under Section 29(1)(c) of the Animal Welfare Act 2015, which carries a fine of between RM20,000 and RM100,000, a jail term of up to three years, or both, as reported by The Star.
He was also served with a separate charge under Section 8(a) of the Firearms Act 1960 for possessing an air rifle without a permit.
If convicted, Aziz can be jailed for up to seven years or fined a maximum of RM10,000, or both.
The Sessions Court granted a bail of RM5,000 while the Magistrate's Court set bail at RM2,500.
