Dad Is Jailed For A Year After Threatening His Son With A Knife
He was arrested after the victim's aunt alerted the police about the situation.

A man in Tawau, Sabah, has been sentenced to a year in prison after admitting to criminally intimidating his 13-year-old son with a knife
According to New Straits Times, the incident occurred at the accused Ardi Aris' former in-law's residence at Jalan Tiku on 4 August.
It is said Ardi grabbed a knife from the kitchen on a sudden impulse and threatened his son to pray. Out of fear, the victim, Zack Azroy, complied with his father's orders.
The 32-year-old was subsequently arrested after the victim's aunt swiftly alerted the police about the situation.
Following that, the accused was charged under Section 506 of the Penal Code for the offence of criminal intimidation by Magistrate Don Stiwin Malanjum
The prosecution was led by ASP Nur Intan Jamrin from the Tawau District Police Headquarters Crime Investigation Division.
According to New Straits Times, Ardi had been previously referred to Mesra Bukit Padang Hospital in Kota Kinabalu due to suspected mental health issues.
In his appeal, the accused urged the court to consider a lighter sentence, asserting he had regretted his actions.
The court subsequently decreed that his jail term would be effective from the date of his arrest.
