From 1 June onwards, passport renewal services at the Kajang, Wangsa Maju, and Kelana Jaya immigration offices will be done fully online

Home Affairs Minister Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail told New Straits Times that the government will utilise the 'MyOnline Passport' application service at these three branches as they have better Internet connectivity, which enables them to conduct online passport services.

"Currently, Klang Valley has 5G Internet connection which means that the speed is faster," he added.

He explained that these three branches are the most popular in the area and they issue the most number of passports.
