Woman Fights For 9 Hours To Escape Death After Husband Pushed Her Into 10M-Deep Ravine
She was determined to survive for the sake of her young children.

Despite being pushed into a 10m deep ravine and suffering fractured bones throughout her body, a 32-year-old woman endured the pain for nine hours, determined to survive for the sake of her children
The woman's story of unrelenting will to survive and her night-long ordeal to crawl up the ravine to seek help occurred on the night of 26 July when she travelled from Kuala Lumpur to Perak with her husband in a vehicle, reported the New Straits Times.
According to the police, an argument ensued between the couple during the journey, escalating to the husband threatening to kill her.
The husband choked the victim, prompting her to attempt to jump out of the vehicle. However, the suspect managed to stop her.
When they arrived at KM31.2 of the East-West Highway between Gerik and Jeli at around 4am, another fight broke out.
"The suspect then pulled the victim out of the car, leading to a fight and struggle on the roadside. The suspect then pushed the victim into the ravine," revealed district police chief Supt Zulkifli Mahmood.
The woman was transported back to her home in Kelantan two weeks after the incident.

After the fall, she suffered fractures in five lumbar vertebrae (L1 to L5), hip, and hands. Her lungs were also damaged.
Ridzuan said the victim was determined to survive, driven by the thoughts of her 5-month-old and 6-year-old children.
"She fought for her life and looked for ways to survive. She fell into the ravine at 5am and crawled back [to the roadside] by 2pm, asking the public for help.
"Let's all pray for her swift recovery, continued strength, and smooth resolution of her challenges," Ridzuan said after hearing her story while transporting her from Hospital Taiping back to her home in Kelantan.
The police arrested the woman's husband, a 39-year-old trader, after the incident
He was remanded to assist in the investigation for attempted murder under Section 307 of the Penal Code, reported The Star.
The police also revealed that the suspect has a criminal record with previous drug and petty offences.
The suspect (right) was remanded for a week to assist in the investigation.
