MINI Unveils 4 New Zippy Cars For The Urban Driver

MINI has recently unveiled four new-generation compact cars in Malaysia
The latest lineup was revealed at the New MINI Family Launch Event in JioSpace, Petaling Jaya. The four new models — the Countryman SE, JCW Countryman, Cooper S, and Cooper SE — embody MINI's "Charismatic Simplicity" design language.
With two fully electrified models, this new generation of MINI represents a major move towards emission-free urban mobility.
The new all-electric MINI Cooper SE makes its inaugural appearance at the MINI Family Launch Event
Its interior focuses on essentials with fewer but high-quality components. The driver's seat features a Vescin three-spoke sport steering wheel in Vescin and a two-tone houndstooth pattern in Grey and Beige on the knitted textile dashboard. Slim air vents enhance the sleek design, and the MINI Head-Up display provides essential information without additional instrument panels, offering an unobstructed view.
The cabin's centrepiece is a 240mm round OLED display with a touch-optimised interface, surrounded by curved surfaces and warm materials for a cosy atmosphere.
The redesigned MINI toggle bar and centre console improve ergonomics and storage space. MINI Experience Modes use specific light graphics to enhance the driving experience, and the Harman Kardon surround sound system adds to the ambience.
Other features include Vescin sport seats, electric seat adjustment with memory, and an automatic anti-dazzle interior rear-view mirror.
The compact Cooper SE packs a punch for spirited driving
The MINI Cooper SE boasts 218hp and 330Nm of torque, accelerating from 0 to 100km/h in 6.7 seconds, with a top speed of 170km/h.
It has an enhanced track width and wheelbase, finely tuned suspension, and a lower centre of gravity for lively handling. With a 54.2kWh battery, it offers a range of 387 to 402km on a single charge.
The battery can be charged using an 11kW AC charger or up to 95kW with DC charging, going from 10% to 80% in just under 30 minutes.
It comes loaded with tonnes of bells and whistles
The MINI Cooper SE, like other members of the new MINI Family, features the MINI Operating System 9, which blends functional and emotional elements in a distinctive MINI style. This system powers a new digital experience through the MINI Interaction Unit and includes MINI's first fully-fledged voice assistant for voice-controlled navigation, telephone, entertainment, and other vehicle functions.
Standard features include the Driving Assistant, which offers Lane Change Warning, Lane Departure Warning, Speed Limit Info, Cruise Control with braking, Front Collision Warning, Evasion Assistant, Rear Crossing Traffic Warning, Rear-end Collision Prevention, and Exit Warning.
Additionally, the optional Driving Assistant Plus is available, offering Active Cruise Control with Stop&Go, Steering and Lane Control Assistant, and Manual and Automatic Speed Limit Assistant.

The MINI Cooper SE is available in Blazing Blue, Nanuq White, Chili Red II, Legend Grey, Sunny Side Yellow, Midnight Black II, British Racing Green, and Melting Silver, with an interior in Nightshade Blue. Prices start at RM193,888.
The petrol-powered MINI Cooper S comes in Ocean Wave Green, Legend Grey, Nanuq White, and Chili Red, featuring a Black and Grey interior with blue textile inserts. Prices start at RM279,888.
The MINI Countryman SE offers bold exterior colours like Smokey Green, Legend Grey, Nanuq White, Melting Silver, Blazing Blue, and Chili Red, with interior options in Vintage Brown or Dark Petrol. Prices start at RM258,888.
The sporty MINI JCW Countryman is available in sporty colours such as Legend Grey, Nanuq White, Melting Silver, and Midnight Black, featuring JCW Black upholstery. The JCW Countryman is the most premium model, with prices starting at RM389,888.
