Sime Darby Auto Performance (SDAP), the distributor for Porsche in Malaysia, has officially launched the highly anticipated all-electric Porsche Macan

This exciting new addition to Porsche's lineup starts at RM430,000 and is available in four variants: the Macan, 4, 4S, and the Turbo.

The Porsche Macan is built upon the cutting-edge Premium Platform Electric (PPE). With its 800-volt electrical system and a substantial 100kWh battery, the Macan achieves an impressive driving range, estimated between 590km and 641km depending on the specific model. Following its global debut in Singapore earlier this year, the electric Macan is now poised to make its mark on Malaysian roads.

The Macan's interior is just as impressive as its exterior, featuring a modern and technologically advanced design

A 12.6-inch curved digital instrument cluster provides the driver with essential information, while a 10.9-inch central touchscreen controls the infotainment system. Passengers can even enjoy an optional 10.9-inch display of their own.

Porsche also includes enhanced features like a heads-up display and customisable ambient lighting to create a truly luxurious and personalised driving experience. The displays have been upgraded with new themes, animations, and a colour scheme that can be matched to the car's exterior paint, adding a touch of personalisation.

The Porsche Macan lineup offers a range of performance levels

The base model starts with a respectable 355hp, while the top-of-the-line Macan Turbo boasts a thrilling 630hp and can launch from 0 to 100kmh in a mere 3.3 seconds.

To ensure exceptional handling, all Macan variants come standard with Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM). For even greater agility and responsiveness, rear-axle steering is available as an option.

Aerodynamic features like an adaptive rear spoiler and active cooling flaps help it slice through the air, achieving a low drag coefficient of 0.25. For those who want to venture off the beaten path, an optional off-road package increases ground clearance, making the Macan capable of handling more adventurous terrain.

The four variants are now available for test drives at all Porsche Centres in Malaysia

The all-electric Porsche Macan is officially available in Malaysia, with prices starting at RM430,000 for the base model and going up to RM635,000 for the high-performance Turbo variant. The Macan 4 is priced at RM445,000, while the Macan 4S comes in at RM525,000. Distributor Sime Darby Auto Performance started deliveries of this exciting new electric SUV last weekend.
