Runner Nearly Injured After Discovering Nails Sticking Out On Rawang Road
This is not the first time runners have discovered nails embedded along Persiaran Anggun in Bukit Emerald.
An avid runner and content creator has warned other runners to be cautious of nails embedded in Bukit Emerald, Rawang after nearly injuring himself
The runner took to his TikTok account, @aaameirr, to highlight his discovery of at least four nails embedded in the tarmac road along the new stretch of Persiaran Anggun.
"Look at this. They removed the nail heads and hammered them into the road. I found three nails, and one more had pierced through my shoes.
"[The nail] hit my foot. Thankfully, I didn't bleed, but it still hurts," Ameir shared.
According to the 50-second video, the nails were difficult to discern due to their similar grey shades blending with the road.
Ameir, who often creates educational content about running and sports gear recommendations, also discovered a nail while he was warming up for his run.
Initially thinking it was just a misplaced nail, he found more while running.

Ameir mentioned that this is not the first time nails have been found hammered into the road, citing a previous incident in April that made the news
"The last incident occurred [at the beginning stretch of the road], and now the nails have been discovered here.
"The culprits must have embedded the nails after seeing many kids running on the road here," he said.
Ameir advised motorcyclists and runners to be cautious while on Persiaran Anggun, suspecting that more nails may be on the road.

At the time of writing, the video has garnered over 2.4 million views on TikTok
Many top comments in the video suggested that the nails were likely placed by towing service providers.
"This must be the work of tow truck drivers. Please help remove the nails to prevent others from getting injured," read a top comment.
"PDRM, please go undercover as a victim. Then, catch and investigate the tow trucks that come," one TikTok user suggested.
"The culprits must either be a tow service provider or a tyre shop owner nearby," another person said.
