During a recent livestream, Fazio revealed that a video game developer had to delay the release of its new title in anticipation of Sony's latest video game console.
By the way, rumours of PS5 Pro have been swirling for more than a year.
The PS5 Pro is rumoured to be stronger and faster than its predecessor
According to tech website Wccftech, a separate video game developer also confirmed that the PS5 Pro is on its way.
Meanwhile, developers at the recently held Gamescom 2024 in Cologne, Germany, told TweakTown that they've received specifications for the PS5 Pro.
Many expressed confidence that Unreal Engine 5 would run significantly better on the upcoming console's upgraded hardware.
However, Sony has remained coy about the launch of the PS5 Pro
It's unclear when the upcoming console will be released.
Many speculated that the new console would be launched this year. However, with Sony's summer gaming showcase not revealing anything about the PS5 Pro, they now feel that the rumours should be taken with a pinch of salt.
That said, Sony did announce the PS4 Pro in September 2016, with the console released in November that same year. So, fingers crossed, the same could be true for the PS5 Pro.
