Anwar Ibrahim's Cat Becomes Star Of The Show As He Comes Out To Greet Reporters
It's why the cat is so big, it's full of secrets.
Every Malaysian is on the edge of their seats, waiting for their next prime minister to be announced
While the nation waits with bated breath, it seems that a certain feline can't wait to hear the news as well. And it's none other than Pakatan Harapan (PH) leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim's cat, Billy.
In a TikTok video by Sinar Harian, Billy, who did not want to be left out of the action, decided to venture out of the PH chairman's house and see if there was any breaking news.
Unable to resist the white-grey cat's charm, one of the reporters decided to pick Billy up, delighted that the cat allowed him to do so.
Or maybe he picked Billy up in case the feline had any secrets about his owner that he wanted to spill to the media.
Media reporters were gathered outside of Anwar's residence yesterday morning, 22 November, in hopes of receiving any updates from the PH chairman.
Many netizens fawned over how cute Anwar's cat was while others cracked jokes in relation to Billy being the PH leader's cat
Some netizens jokingly said that Billy had lots of secrets to tell since his owner was the PH leader.
Another netizen said in jest that if Anwar were to become the next prime minister of Malaysia, Billy would be the prime minister of cats and would have the duty of taking care of stray cats.
Hilariously, one netizen suggested that the cat was the 10th Prime Minister of Malaysia. Not a bad idea to be honest.
As a result of the 15th General Election (GE15), Malaysia is faced with a hung parliament, with no clear indication on who the 10th Prime Minister of Malaysia will be
Anwar and Perikatan Nasional (PN) chairman Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin was summoned to the Istana Negara by Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah, for a meeting yesterday, 22 November.
However, according to Anwar himself, the position of prime minister is still open and the Agong hasn't made any decisions yet.
The Agong announced that he will be holding a special meeting with fellow rulers on Thursday, 24 November, to discuss the matter further. Therefore, hopefully Malaysia will have a leader by then.
We think Billy can't wait, too, and wants a prime minister right meow.
