Malaysian singer Jeryl Lee is being hailed as a striking doppelgänger of BLACKPINK's Lisa
Jeryl has been gaining attention online after emerging as the champion of Chinese reality TV singing competition show, The Next 2023, last month.
She was also one of the six finalists in 2016's Sing! China and clinched the first place title in 2014 for the Water Cube Cup, a singing contest for Chinese youth around the world.
The 23-year-old from Penang recently shared Instagram photos of herself that have been gaining widespread attention due to her uncanny resemblance to the K-pop star.
It's even earned her the nickname 'Malaysian Lisa' and it's not hard to see why
According to Singaporean news portal, 8days, Jeryl doesn't quite agree, although she is quite flattered.
"I take it as a compliment… [but] me and my close friends don't think we look alike. But some people who have just met me might feel, at that moment, a resemblance," she said.
