Video Capturing Uncle In Johor Taking 11-Year-Old Tortoise For A Walk Goes Viral
The tortoise might look enormous, but it is actually just a 11-year-old child. :D

It looks like an old man walking his tortoise isn't something unique to Japan, because we have an uncle that does the same thing here in Malaysia
A video showing an uncle taking his 11-year-old tortoise for a walk has gone viral on Facebook and Twitter
In the less than one-minute long video, a giant brown tortoise can be seen strolling down a road in a residential area.
A man, who is wearing a face mask and a red shirt, follows the tortoise closely behind with a leash in his hand.
The video is believed to be taken by a female driver who spotted the uncle taking his tortoise for a walk.
She can be seen driving up to the uncle and the tortoise to comment on the adorable sight.
"Hello, uncle. This is so cute," the woman remarks, before asking how old the tortoise is.
"It is 11 years old," answers the uncle.
The video ends shortly after the exchange as the tortoise focuses on trotting forward.
At the time of writing, the video has gone viral with over 5,800 likes and 3,200 likes on Twitter
Many netizens were exhilarated after watching the video.
"Actually, it was the tortoise who is the uncle's owner," one Twitter user said in jest, while another replied, "Nope. Actually, it was the tortoise who challenged the uncle to a race."
Meanwhile, one person suggested that walking dogs or cats is no longer the right thing to do, but walking a tortoise is.
A Twitter user quipped that the uncle should be careful of Mario and not let the fictional Italian plumber step on the tortoise.
A netizen joked the tortoise is just one year away from becoming a teenager so that it can learn kung fu and become a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle.
However, this is not the first time the uncle and the tortoise have gone viral
In December last year, photos capturing the uncle walking the tortoise went viral too.
Some of the photos even show a boy playing with the tortoise in the residential neighbourhood.
At that time, some sharp-eyed netizens were able to make out from the photos that the uncle was walking the tortoise in a township in Johor Bahru, Johor.
