the Curve's Raya Decor Invokes Nostalgic 'Kampung' Vibes & Features 10,000 Raya Cards
The mall has been awarded the title of 'The Most Extensive Display of Raya Greeting Cards' by the Malaysian Book of Records.
With their Kiriman Raya theme, the Curve is throwing it back old school for the Raya celebrations this year, evoking nostalgia feels for timeless traditions
Paying homage to the age-old tradition of thoughtful gifting, the Curve promises an enchanting experience filled with cherished moments, from now until 14 April.
Inspired by the historic Pejabat Pos Bukit Rotan, the Ground Floor of the Curve will transform into a traditional kampung, showcasing a vibrant tapestry of shared moments. The Centre Court will be home to its very own Pos Malaysia service counter, various retro haven shops, and a bustling Raya bazaar.
You'll even be able to send your Raya cards and goodies to your loved ones through the Pos Malaysia mailbox and courier services on the weekends.
The mall has been awarded the title of 'The Most Extensive Display of Raya Greeting Cards' by the Malaysian Book of Records for showcasing over 10,000 Raya greeting cards, recognising it as the largest display of its kind in Malaysia
Spread out throughout the mall, the display is meant to revive tradition, reminding everyone to celebrate the long-forgotten custom of sending physical greeting cards to loved ones during Raya.
The best part is that these Raya cards won't go to waste, as they will later be repurposed for upcoming creative children's art workshops, collages, and other activities, in line with the Curve's sustainability efforts.
You can also look forward to enjoying a diverse range of exciting activities at the Curve — from captivating musical performances on weekends and public holidays at 2pm and 6pm, to delightful arts and crafts workshops for kids on weekends and public holidays at 3pm.
Don't miss out on the Fiesta Raya celebration at The Street and Piazza, featuring vibrant festivities and cultural performances daily from 10am to 12am.
And there's also the Festival Kraf Kebangsaan at Fashion Walk, Level 1, which will be showcasing the best of national crafts until 7 April.
"This year, our Raya festivities hold deeper meaning with Pos Malaysia and Malaysia Book of Records' invaluable involvement. It empowers us to recreate cherished memories and foster a profound sense of community spirit.
"Additionally the Curve is also committed to supporting local SMEs through our Raya bazaar, many of which have evolved from humble kiosks to permanent tenants," said Jazmi Kamarudin, Chief Operations Officer of Boustead Properties Berhad.
In the spirit of Ramadan, the Curve is also doing their part to give back to the community and those who are less fortunate
the Curve extends warm blessings and wishes to local orphanage, Pusat Jagaan Kasih Harapan in Kota Damansara, by providing hampers filled with essential items and special Raya packets. They also hosted Raya performances and an iftar session at Royale Chulan, the Curve, fostering a sense of community camaraderie.
In observance of the holy month of Ramadan, the Curve is also offering an additional prayer room for Muslim shoppers and staff on the First Floor, complementing the existing surau rooms.
