No need to fly or drive all the way to Penang.
If you're in Klang Valley, you can now enjoy your favourite char koay teow, asam laksa, and nasi kandar flown in straight from Penang to your doorstep!
Starting today, 15 August, airasia food is the first delivery service in Malaysia to offer intercity delivery from Penang to Klang Valley.
Its food delivery platform airasia Super App is kicking off this new service for specific areas in Klang Valley on selected days of the week.
Simply by clicking the 'Food' icon on the app, customers will be able to enjoy meals that are "prepared fresh" and "air-flown in strict hygienic conditions" on the same day, as stated in the press release.
Each delivery order fee only costs RM5.99.
All you need to do is place your order by 5pm the day before the delivery day.
Users have the option of pre-ordering meals up to 30 days in advance.
Some of the meals you can order include:
– Hameed Pata's mee goreng sotong
– Jeruk Madu Pak Ali's jeruk campur
– Nyonya kuih from Li Er Cafe
– Nasi kandar from Hameediyah
– White curry mee, char koay teow, and Hokkien mee from Bee Hwa Cafe
– Tiger char koay teow and 888 Hokkien mee from Jalan Iradiwati
The company added that it will continue to include food from other states to deliver to more locations than just Klang Valley in future
Currently, all meals are air-flown in every Wednesday from Penang.
airasia food previously launched intercity food delivery in Thailand, where customers could order food from Phuket to Bangkok.
