Famous Subang Jaya Uncle Soon Fried Rice Launches New Outlet In Kota Damansara

If you live or study in Subang, you might be familiar with Uncle Soon Fried Rice, a popular hawker stall located in SS15
With branches in SS15, 128 Sunway, DK Senza, and more outside Subang, Uncle Soon is a beloved hawker stall that's well known for their wok-hei-style (wok aroma) fried rice with sambal belacan and fried egg drizzled with soy sauce.
Now, PJ folks will be glad to know that Uncle Soon Fried Rice opened their latest outlet in Yuan Feng Kopitiam at Kota Damansara on 27 May
You won't have to drive all the way to Subang to get an authentic taste of their aromatic fried rice.
The founders of Uncle Soon Fried Rice are a couple from Alor Setar who have worked as hawker chefs since they were 22 and 23 years old
According to Vulcan Post, the couple launched Uncle Soon Fried Rice in 1990 before getting married, and operated their business for 16 years in Alor Setar. In 2007, they moved to Selangor after their daughter graduated from primary school. They set up their business in My Friend's Cafe in SS15 before relocating to Kwai Sun, and finally to Restaurant Foh Foh in 2014.
After completing SPM, their daughter started working for them full-time, and eventually took over the family business with her then-boyfriend at age 20. Currently, they manage the business as husband-and-wife, just like her parents.
Uncle Soon is a popular makan spot for university students, as they have branches near Taylor's University and Sunway University and College
They have outlets in 128 Senza, which is right across Sunway College and Sunway University, and in DK Senza, which is right across Taylor's University.
Their third outlet at DK Senza, outside Taylor's University.
