Soon-To-Retire Woman In Johor Hits Jackpot And Brings Home RM16.8 Million

A 59-year-old woman is in disbelief that she won RM16.8 million after buying lottery numbers of her family cars' number plates, which she has been betting on for many years
According to New Straits Times, the lucky punter, who works as a sales manager in Johor, won the Toto 4D Jackpot 1 on 23 September.
"I have been buying this set of winning numbers – 9098 and 9962 – and this is the first time I won a prize with these numbers," she told Sports Toto when she went to collect her prize money.
"I was doubtful when my sister told me that I could have won a jackpot on Wednesday evening."
"It proved to be true after I checked the result on the Internet and again at the Sports Toto outlet the next day," said the winner gleefully.
The woman spent RM56 on a System 8 ticket and won a grand total of RM16,788,163.55
Within the colossal sum, RM2,016 is from a separate pool of winnings, reported theSundaily.
The Johorean said she could not believe it when her sister informed her that she had hit the million ringgit jackpot.
When asked how she will spend the money, she said she wants to travel around the world once the COVID-19 pandemic is over
A part of the money will be saved for her retirement as well.
"The year 2020 is not too bad for me after all, as I will be retiring next year," she said.
