Malaysian astronaut Dr Sheikh Muszaphar Shukor recently uploaded a photo of him as a food rider.

He revealed that he had been delivering food for a local restaurant over the past week.

The astronaut also shared that he is one of the co-owners of Rebung, an esteemed restaurant in Kuala Lumpur that specialises in authentic Malay food.

He looked back at the days when the restaurant was just starting out, saying, "I remember going to Pasar Borong Selayang at 4am during those days, buying fresh seafood everyday for the first six months during our start up."

"I remember sending lemang, rendang, and dodol in the wee hours of raya morning for the past two years. Those were the days."

Dr Sheikh Muszaphar explained that since the restaurant just recently reopened, he decided to personally deliver food to customers

"We started opening again last week during this Movement Control Order and I personally put my feet on the ground to deliver food. It's the best," he shared.

The photo, uploaded on Wednesday, 22 April, shows him smiling on a motorcycle while carrying an orange delivery bag.

He captioned it, "Being a delivery boy."

Many netizens were impressed by the astronaut's humility

One Twitter user wrote, "He's been my idol since I was a kid. Now he's also a delivery man. Nice one, boss. He's truly a humble person."

"He's not picky about work. Even though he could just stay at home the whole day, he decided to participate. Good job to our astronaut," said another netizen.

Another person commmented, "Isn't he so humble? I love reading the captions on his posts. Sometimes I feel so motivated after stalking his Instagram. An idol."
