Netizens Praise Japanese Man Who Was Seen Picking Up Trash While Holidaying In Singapore

The Japanese are known all over the world for their amazing display of class and civic sense, especially when it comes to cleaning up after themselves at international meets

Their actions are often highlighted with praise and admiration, as did this Singaporean man's recent encounter with a Japanese tourist who was picking up trash along the roadside

Toshi, who had been living in Singapore for the past two months, has been helping to pick up litter in order to preserve the area's cleanliness before he is due to go back to Japan next week

"Next week I am going home. I like this place. Very green. Very clean. So I just help to pick up the litter," he said. 

The post has been shared close to 3,000 times at the time of writing, with many netizens thanking Toshi for setting an example for Singaporeans
