Mira, who is embroiled in controversy after she was accused of having an affair with her boss, View Chin, has broken the silence to share her side of the story

In an Instagram post published on the second day of Hari Raya Aidilfitri, 23 April, Mira, whose real name is Amirah Aqilah Firdaus, apologised to Shermine, Chin's former wife, as well as three other individuals, for everything that has happened.

"I regret and admit all the mistakes I have made," she said, adding, "But my relationship with View Chin started after they had officially divorced."

Mira stressed that her relationship with her boss had not started when Chin and Shermine were still married as claimed in viral posts online.

"I have nothing to do with their divorce," she said

The employee, who Chin described as a valuable business partner in his company, said that she will accept all the criticism against her with an open heart.

Earlier this month, Shermine exposed Chin for allegedly cheating on her with an employee and posted a closed-circuit television (CCTV) clip of him physically assaulting her

Chin runs a company selling fashion products and also promotes other brands' products via livestreams. Mira is one of the talents in the company's livestreams.

Due to the overwhelming pressure caused by Shermine's allegations, Chin spoke to the media last Monday, 17 April, to refute some of his ex-wife's claims and reveal that they officially divorced in December last year.

He also alleged that it was Shermine who cheated first. He apologised for hitting her and admitted that he did go on a holiday to Bali, Indonesia with Mira while he was still married.

Following that, Shermine also talked to the media to deny that she had affairs with other men.

Asking for help is not a sign of weakness.
