In collaboration with Ogilvy & Mather Malaysia, the PJ-based sportswear brand - that holds women empowerment at its core - has created the world's first handbag accessory that acts as a device to help nab snatch thieves.

Called the "Handbag Dyetonator", the device, which masks as an inconspicuous handbag accessory, can be remotely detonated via SMS sent from any phone

It then releases a cloud of ink and smoke that will mark the thief permanently, making it easier for authorities to spot and apprehend the thief.

The device is capable of denotating within five seconds when activated while the smoke flare will burn for at least four minutes.

The device also contains a GPS tracker that will allow the owner to locate where the bag was dumped

ash be nimble has also partnered with the National Council of Women’s Organisations Malaysia (NCWO) on a petition to call for stricter laws on snatch thefts in order to further deter anyone from committing such a crime
