Here's How Tesla Performed After 1 Year In Malaysia
The electric car brand has grown exponentially since its debut a year ago.

Tesla celebrated its one-year launch anniversary in Malaysia yesterday, 22 July
The brand marked the milestone by sharing an Instagram post reflecting on its achievements throughout the year, showcasing its car deliveries and the growth of its charging and service network.
According to Tesla Malaysia, it has delivered almost 5,000 Tesla cars to happy customers across the country
Tesla has delivered 4,998 cars in total, with 3,002 Model 3s and 1,996 Model Ys. While the Model Y launched first, the Model 3 was actually the first to reach customers on 29 November 2023. Model Y deliveries only began locally in March this year.
SoyaCincau reported that a total of 4,778 Teslas were registered in the one-year period beginning from July 2023. However, note that this total includes grey imported units.
Tesla has also established many service centres and charging stations across the nation
Tesla Malaysia has set up 11 Supercharging locations and 11 Destination Chargers across the country since its launch a year ago. The Superchargers — which provide DC fast charging up to 250kW — are located in the Klang Valley, Melaka, Johor, Penang, and Pahang.
Tesla is continuously expanding its Supercharging network, with new stations coming to Gurney Plaza in Penang and The Gardens Mall in Kuala Lumpur. Currently, Tesla Superchargers cost RM1.25 per kWh, while Destination chargers remain free for now.
Tesla Malaysia has just one service centre in Cyberjaya but has teamed up with SR EV Automotive and Hap Seng Body and Paint for body and paintwork. The company does not have a huge service network like traditional brands, but it does offer mobile services across Malaysia.
The brand also has permanent showrooms in Cyberjaya and Pavilion Damansara Heights, and you can also check out their cars and take a test drive at Sunway Big Box in Johor and Gurney Plaza in Penang.
