Meet Eva, an adorable 3-year-old golden tiger that's capturing netizens' attention with her doll-like appearance

The Chiang Mai Night Safari in Thailand shared photos of the doe-eyed tiger on Tuesday, 19 November on Facebook, garnering over 31,000 reactions and more than 24,000 shares.

Meanwhile, her older sister, Luna, was introduced to the public through the Thai safari's Facebook page on 29 October

Though the reception towards Luna was lukewarm, she is just as irresistibly cute as her younger sister.

I mean just look at her!

Eva and Luna were born on 16 February 2021 with a unique golden hue, also known as the "strawberry tiger" colouration

Like their white tiger cousins, the cubs' distinctive appearances are the result of a recessive gene that affects their colour pigmentation.

According to the Bangkok Post, golden tigers are incredibly rare. While white tigers are found in only one out of every 10,000 tiger births, it is estimated that fewer than 100 golden tigers exist worldwide.
