After a night of clubbing, we're all probably looking for the most convenient way to get home.

But should that be at the cost of your expenses?

A recent clip posted on TikTok has gone viral after one young adult found a rather interesting way to get home after a night out.

22-year-old Singaporean Jun Hao shared an incident last week where, after going clubbing, he decided to ride a bicycle back home instead of taking an e-hailing ride.

"Cycling home after clubbing because I refuse to pay SGD40 (approximately RM132) for Grab," read the caption plastered across his screen.

In the 15-second feature, Jun Hao rode the bicycle across streets and through roads. He even passed through what looked like a construction area, before stopping to hydrate along the way, too

At the end of the clip, Jun Hao revealed that he rode his bike for 16.68km, burning about 400 calories along the way.

Taking him 89 minutes in total to get home (approximately one and a half hours), Jun Hao provided a screenshot from an unidentified app, displaying that he spent only SGD3 (approximately RM10) using the bicycle to get back home.

Since posting the clip, Jun Hao's TikTok has received over 300,000 views and more than 40,000 likes

A selected number of people were thoroughly impressed with Jun Hao's ability to cycle back home after a night of clubbing. While one user said that the entire situation was a vibe, another even praised Jun Hao for using an environmentally-sound method of going back home.

Joking about the video in relation to their personal life, another user said they laughed when their friend said she would do the same thing. "I thought she would die or something!"

A few cheeky comments made fun at their own expense after seeing how determined Jun Hao was to cycle back home.

"I need to start doing this for real but I'd probably puke and pass out," wrote one user. "And I'm gonna go back home sober? No way," penned another.

Others also pointed out some of the personal benefits to cycling home as opposed to taking a car, saying that he'd probably have sobered up by the time he reached home

"Exercising the alcohol away!" commented one user.

However, one of the funniest comments came from a Malaysian, who said that it would be difficult to mimic the same thing in Kuala Lumpur.

"Try in KL and see, go cycling from Bukit Bintang back to Klang," they wrote.
