12 Amazing Things To Look Forward To In 2017
2017 is gonna be SO MUCH BETTER than 2016, guys!

Last year's all done and dusted and we're looking forward to having an amazing 2017 ahead! :D
There's a lot to look forward to: from highly anticipated Hollywood releases to some exciting stuff right here at home. 5. Top artists will be dropping brand new albums
Keep an eye out for Katy Perry, Drake, Lorde, The Chainsmokers, Fergie, and Iggy Azalea, all of whom are expected to be releasing new albums sometime this year.
Also, rumour has it that Eminem will be collaborating with Adele for a couple tracks on his new album. :O
6. The original Digimon Virtual Pet/Digivice toy is coming back
Japanese toy maker and video game manufacturer Bandai recently announced that it will be bringing back the original Digivice toy we all grew up playing with in honor of Digimon's 20th anniversary!
7. Techies will be able to get their hands on loads of exciting new gadgets...
It's the 10th anniversary of the iPhone so Apple is sure to have something big in store for the new model.

8. ...and gamers can look forward to some big releases
Some highly anticipated games are slated for release this year such as:
- 'Resident Evil 7: Biohazard' (January 24)
- 'Mass Effect: Andromeda' (March 21)
- 'Persona 5' (April 4)
- 'Outlast 2' (no official date announced yet)
9. We'll be able to see two lunar eclipses
The first is a penumbral lunar eclipse, predicted to be happening on 11 February 2017, and the second is a partial lunar eclipse, predicted to be happening on either 7 February 2017 or 8 February 2017.
10. The MRT is finally going to be fully completed
Though the MRT has already been up and running for a couple months now, the final stage of the Sungai Buloh-Kajang MRT line is only expected to be fully complete and operational later in July.
11. It's our turn to play host to the SEA Games
The 29th SEA Games will be taking place from 19 to 31 August 2017. This will mark the 6th time that we've hosted the SEA Games; the last time it was held here was 16 years ago in 2001.
12. We'll be celebrating our 60th year of independence! #merdeka
WOW that's a huge milestone! :D The celebrations are sure to be really gempak this year especially since our Merdeka day coincides with the closing ceremony of the SEA Games so the double celebration will definitely be something worth watching.
