A 'thiccer' than usual Spiderman was recently stopped by Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) for defying the Movement Control Order (MCO)

Yesterday, 2 April, PDRM reposted a netizen's photo on Facebook along with a cheeky caption that read:

"Even if you feel like a superhero, you must also obey the government's directive. Take the opportunity to relax at home with your loved ones! Let us take care of your safety."

Several Malaysians left witty comments on the photo advising Spidey to just stay home

Some even hinted that the MCO might have left the superhero snacking quite a bit, as he looked unlike himself

In an update today, 7 April, Lalamove clarified that the Spiderman who was stopped by PDRM was actually one of their delivery riders

"We have issued a Surat Kebenaran to all our drivers in case they need to clarify with the officers if they are stopped at roadblocks during deliveries," the company told SAYS.

The statement added that their riders are putting themselves at risk of exposure in order to deliver essential items to those at home during this MCO period.
