Father's Day is coming up and if you're out of ideas on how to treat your dad, don't worry 'cause this list might help!

Here are some activities you can do with every type of dad:

For the dad who likes to be active

1. Race him on a go-kart track

Your dad may have been driving you everywhere as a kid, now it's time to race him as an adult. For the dad who loves a good competition, take him to a go-kart track where he can speed all his wants without worrying about getting caught by speed traps (or a nagging wife). :P

Here are several go-kart tracks around Malaysia:
1. Evolt Karting in Subang Jaya
2. Morac Go Kart Track in 1 Utama Shopping Centre
3. Kart Hauz in Penang
4. TraXion Karting in Petaling Jaya
5. City Karting in Shah Alam
6. Sepang International Kart Circuit in Sepang
7. Pinnacle Kart in Subang Jaya
8. Blastacars Malaysia in Kuala Lumpur
9. Formula Karting in Petaling Jaya

2. Let him soar above the clouds by paragliding

A dad who loves an adrenaline rush is a dad worth taking paragliding. Give him a thrilling experience where he can dangle his legs hundreds of metres in the sky while enjoying a different view of Malaysia up in the air.

Here's a list of places you can go paragliding in Malaysia.

3. Get competitive with glow-in-the-dark bowling or badminton

If your dad enjoys a family activity that gets you active, book a session at this bowling alley in Mid Valley Megamall or badminton court in Petronas Twin Towers. It won't be a typical experience and still heaps of fun!

4. Explore the cave at Gua Tempurung

You might need to make a bit of a drive for this one but it's totally worth it. Gua Tempurung is known as one of the longest and largest limestone caves in Peninsular Malaysia.

Aside from the incredible views inside the cave, you'll be taken on a tour that ranges in level of difficulty.

For the more adventurous dad, select the advanced levels, which will take you on an exhilarating journey through tunnels, chambers, and streams as you slide, climb, and crawl through holes!

Make it extra special by setting a theme or dress code.

1. Meers Studio at Jalan Ampang
2. Suafoto Studio at Wangsa Maju

Farm In The City is a popular petting zoo in Seri Kembangan with animals like alpacas, raccoons, meerkats, and more. The KL Bird Park is also a fun place where many of the birds roam freely, allowing you to get up close and personal.

7. Spend quality time fishing or prawning together

The best part about fishing is that there are long periods of time spent together, especially for the dad who appreciates quality time and enjoys a good talk.

Here are some fishing spots in KL and Selangor.

If fishing isn't his thing, prawning is a slightly different activity you can consider. Utama Prawning is a place in Bandar Utama that lets you catch as many tiger prawns as you can in an enclosure and take them home for a meal!
