Everything needed to make a rug is provided, so you'll learn all the intricacies it takes to create your own
From the tufting gun, tufting frame, and over 50 different variations of coloured cotton yarn to choose from, you'll have a ball (of yarn) tufting these rugs.
For those with less steady hands, you can opt to use their projector to help sketch a design onto the base.
Each workshop class favours detail and precision, so you'll be able to master all the basics when operating the tufting gun
The workshop is described as a hands-on instructional class, so you won't be left in the lurch in case you've got no idea how the tufting process works.
From creating a simple row of stitches, the repetition of the process to create fluffy tufts of yarn will slowly develop into what you've envisioned it to be.
While we are all experts in our own right, Tuftme ensures that you'll leave with a rug that's exceptional and superb.
After completing the workshop, members of the team will cover the finishing touches of the rug before you can take it home. This includes trimming, shaving, and applying the final backing to the rug. Come back to the studio and collect your personalised rug in two to three weeks, depending on their stipulation.
