With Merdeka day, 31 August, just around the corner, it's no surprise that lots of restaurants are having promotions for the upcoming long weekend
1. Famous Amos
Famous Amos is offering their Merdeka set combo at only RM6.20 with every purchase of 200g or 300g of cookies.
The Merdeka set comes with 80g of cookies (Original Chocolate Chip or Chocolate Chip Macademia) and 110g of gummies (worms, cherry or Cola flavour).

2. Texas Chicken
For RM6.90, customers can get two pieces of chicken and one regular size drink. This is a real steal, considering that the original price of the set is RM14.90.
They can also add a honey butter biscuit, mashed potato, or coleslaw for just RM1.60.
The promotion is valid in all Texas Chicken outlets on 31 August.

3. Kenny Roger's Roasters
Customers will be able to get 31% off Kenny's Nasi Lemak Solo when they present their meal receipt and the following Facebook post at the cashier.

4. Secret Recipe
Secret Recipe is offering 62% off for those who purchase more than one slice of cake. The promotion is valid on their Regular, Premium, and Square slice cakes.

The promotion is valid at all Secret Recipe outlets nationwide, except PPUM, Medini Mall, and AEON Mall Taiping.

5. Street Churros
Street Churros has not one, but two promotions running for Merdeka!
From now 'til 31 August, customers that buy three churros will be able to get a fourth one free.
And on 31 August, customers can get 31% off food items.
The promotion is available at all outlets, except Langkawi and Sky Avenue.
6. Marrybrown
Do you love Nasi Lemak? On 31 August, customers will be able to get the Nasi Marrybrown for only RM6.20.
