In light of the movement control order (MCO), GrabFood is giving back to our local heroes, the small biz restaurants and hawkers a rebate of RM3 on every order you make through GrabFood!

Small and medium-sized businesses have been hit hard with MCO, and this includes your favourite local restaurant and hawkers. During this critical time, many eateries rely on food deliveries to make ends meet.

In light of that, Grab launched the 'Local Heroes' campaign to generate more awareness for our small, independent restaurants. One of their efforts include the Grab Small-Biz Relief (GSR) programme that aims to provide up to RM3,000 of financial relief to each GrabFood small-biz restaurant by giving them a rebate of RM3 on every order.

Even though the deliver-partners are usually compensated from the commissions paid by the restaurants, this rebate structure prevents any impact to the delivery-partners’ income as well.

Find out more about how it works here.

Campaign period: 1 - 14 April 2020.
