22 Shopping Malls In Klang Valley That Will Be Partially Open Until 31 March

Please don't go jalan-jalan though.

The malls are arranged alphabetically and are listed in no particular order.

The nationwide restricted movement order in Malaysia will begin tomorrow, 18 March

However, there is no need to panic because it will not be a lockdown.

Essential services like supermarkets, pharmacies, and banks will remain open in accordance with the announcement by Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin on Monday, 16 March.

The public has been urged to stay at home during this period.

But in case of emergencies, here is a list of malls in Klang Valley that will be partially open and those that will not:

1. 1 Utama Shopping Centre @ Petaling Jaya will be partially open

Supermarkets, banks, telcos, convenience stores, clinics, and the post office in 1 Utama will remain open from 18 March until 31 March.

Food and beverage outlets will also be open for takeaways and deliveries, however, dine-ins will not be allowed.

2. 3 Damansara @ Petaling Jaya will be partially open

Non-essential services and private businesses will be closed temporarily. However, supermarkets, pharmacies, and other necessary services will remain open.

3. Atria Shopping Gallery @ Petaling Jaya will be partially open

Atria's opening hours will be changed from 10am to 8pm for now until further notice.

4. Avenue K @ KL will be partially open

Only essential health services, supermarkets, and food and beverage outlets will be open for takeaways and delivery services.

5. Berjaya Times Square @ KL will be partially open

Banks, telecommunications, supermarkets, pharmacies, and convenience stores will remain open in Berjaya Times Square.

6. e@Curve and The Curve @ Petaling Jaya will be closed temporarily

All scheduled events that were to be held at The Curve's Centre Court and eCurve's Centre Atrium will also be cancelled.

7. Empire Shopping Mall @ Subang Jaya will be partially open

Its supermarket, pharmacies, convenience stores, and other essential services will remain open.

8. IKEA outlets will be closed temporarily

9. IOI City Mall @ Putrajaya will be partially open

IOI City Mall in Putrajaya listed essential stores that will remain open and the restaurants that will be operating only for takeaways.

10. IPC Shopping Centre @ Petaling Jaya will be partially open

Most shops will be closed in IPC, except for essential services such as pharmacies, supermarkets, ATMs, and convenience stores.

11. Jumpa @ Sungei Wang will be partially open

Private businesses in Jumpa @ Sungei Wang will also have to close temporarily. Supermarkets, pharmacies, and other essential services will continue to operate.

12. Plaza Low Yat @ KL will be closed temporarily

13. Mid Valley Megamall @ KL will be partially open

Supermarkets, bakeries, pharmacies, optical stores, banks, and other essential services will remain open. Selected food and beverage stores will be operating only to offer delivery and take-away services and will not entertain dine-in customers.

14. MyTOWN Shopping Centre @ KL will be partially open

Selected restaurants in MyTOWN will provide takeaway and delivery services, such as GrabFood and Food Panda.

15. NU Sentral @ KL will be partially open

Its supermarket, convenience stores, and other essential services will remain open in NU Sentral. However, the rest of the shops will be temporarily closed until further notice.

16. Paradigm Mall @ Petaling Jaya will be partially open

Paradigm Mall in PJ will have new opening hours from 11am to 8pm for selected stores during this period.

17. Pavilion KL @ KL will be partially open

Selected food and beverage stores will provide takeaways and deliveries but will not allow dine-in customers. Essential services like banks, supermarkets, convenience stores, and telecommunications will remain open.

18. Subang Parade @ Subang Jaya will be partially open

Essential services like the supermarket, pharmacies, and convenience stores will remain open in Subang Parade.

19. Sunway Putra Mall, Sunway Velocity, and Sunway Pyramid will be partially open

Convenience stores, clinics, ATM machines, and supermarkets among other essential services will remain open at all Sunway malls.

20. Suria KLCC @ KL will be partially open

From 18 March onwards, all stores in Suria KLCC will remain closed, with the exception of essential stores.

"Customers can continue shopping for their essential items at the supermarkets, pharmacies, and other essential services stores which will continue to open daily," Suria KLCC told SAYS.

21. The Gardens Mall @ KL will be partially open

22. The Starling @ Petaling Jaya will be partially open

Most of the shops in Starling Mall will be closed, except for Jaya Grocer, pharmacies, and Pos Malaysia.

Outside of Klang Valley, these are the malls that will be partially open:

1. Gurney Plaza @ Penang will be partially open

Several essential services will remain open in Gurney Plaza, such as supermarkets, pharmacies, among others.

2. Toppen Shopping Centre @ Johor will be partially open

Convenience stores, pharmacies, and supermarkets, among other essential services will remain open in Toppen Shopping Centre.
