Form 3 Student Who Allegedly Stabbed Banting School Classmate Remanded

The 15-year-old girl accused of stabbing a fellow student at SMK Bandar Banting in Selangor has been remanded for four days to assist police investigations
Magistrate Maslinda Selamat granted the remand order until Friday, 10 July, at the Telok Datok Magistrate's Court following a police application earlier today, 7 July.
The teenager arrived at the court complex at about 8.08am in a police truck, then left around 9am in a police four-wheel-drive vehicle, according to Utusan Malaysia.
Speaking to reporters outside the courtroom, National Legal Aid Foundation lawyer S Vijeswari Devi said her client is a person with disabilities (OKU).

Police have yet to disclose a motive for the incident.
The victim, a 15-year-old Form 3 student, is understood to have suffered 14 stab wounds, including one that punctured her left lung.
She was also injured on her back and face before being rushed to Hospital Banting for treatment.
Earlier, the victim's father, Mohd Firuz Ibrahim, said his daughter was conscious and able to speak when he met her at the hospital after the attack.
He also said he believes his daughter was not the intended target.
Police investigations into the case are ongoing.
