"It Helps When You're Tipsy" — Couple Go Viral For Organising Ramen Bar At Their Wedding
The perfect meal after a night of drinking.
There are plenty of things to think about when planning a wedding — What music will you play? What decorations will you use? What ramen will you serve?
Wait what!?
Korean-American chef, Chris Cho, recently wed his wife in a beautiful ceremony after officially getting married during the pandemic.
Inviting their closest family and friends, they decided to create an innovative 'bar' that doesn't serve the liquor or spirits, but instead serves ramen.
Sharing their curation on Cho's TikTok and Instagram accounts, the 22-second feature shows Cho and his friend guzzling noodles at their table, while panning to other guests who are also eating ramen.
One man can be seen dancing while holding a cup of noodles in his hand, while another woman smiles at the camera as she prepares to eat. "Ramen soup when tipsy just hits different," read a caption across the screen.
As displayed in the video, the station was specifically set up with a sign that read 'Ramen Station', with the cup noodles and hot water provided for guests to make their treat.
Since publishing the feature on TikTok, the video has been viewed more than one million times, and racked up over 160,000 likes
Comments poured in from people all around the world, primarily from Asian countries, praising the Cho's for their creative and interesting idea.
One commenter even stated how ramen is perfect to have after a night of drinking.
While a couple of others even expressed their plan to have a ramen bar at their own wedding some time in the future.
