A little girl went viral on Chinese social media platform, Douyin, for turning what could have been a disastrous performance into a one-woman triumph
The event unfolded at a school performance for Children's Day in Shandong, China, which took place on 31 May.
In the video, the little girl is seen dancing fearlessly on stage, while her partner breaks down in tears, perhaps due to stage fright.
The little girl is undeterred by his tears, not even sparing her sobbing partner a glance, and calmly carries on with the performance.
At one point, the little girl comes pretty close to tears, her lips pouting.
But the water works never comes. She perseveres, like a total champ.
Many netizens also noticed this as well, praising the little girl for her steadfast attitude.
"It actually looked like she was going to cry, but she just continued on till the end," one netizen said.
